I started playing piano when I was 7 and began teaching piano in high school. I studied Music Therapy at Utah State University from 2002 to 2004, then Piano Pedagogy at Weber State University from 2005 to 2006. Over the years I have played piano and organ for church and accompanied singers for auditions and other occasions. I am also a parent of four and homeschooled for 12 years. Two of my children participate in CCISD school string programs, so music is part of our family life in more than one way. I love teaching Presto because music learning happens through play. Children can work hard, be challenged, and still leave class excited to come back to the piano.
